IDED (then known as SDIA) along with members and other signatories sent a letter to the members of the Climate Protection and Energy Committee of the Bundestag. The signatories welcomed the new Energy Efficiency Act (EnEfG), which had its public hearing on June 12 and was nearing adoption.

The law includes important reporting obligations for data centers—a central concern of IDED’s work on the transparency of digital infrastructure. The full letter is available as a publication.
