IDED commented on the EU draft of the Energy Efficiency Directive and called for more comprehensive transparency requirements for data centers.
IDED (formerly known as SDIA), together with co-authors, submitted a statement on the EU Energy Efficiency Directive Task A document. The demand: Go beyond pure energy efficiency metrics and create real transparency over total electricity consumption — including the link between data centers and software applications.
