Sustainable Procurement of Software and Cloud
Public purchasers acquire software and cloud services. But how can sustainability be embedded in tenders without technical expertise?
The Buyer Group ICT is a Dutch-Flemish purchasing consortium of public organizations for sustainable IT procurement.
We have developed a set of criteria for the procurement of software, cloud infrastructure, and cloud services. In workshops with participants from the Buyer Group, we refined the criteria and validated them with market participants.
In addition to the catalog, we have created a digital tool that enables purchasers to compile criteria and indicators based on their own priorities. Providers can submit roadmaps and annual reports through the tool.
