IDED (formerly known as SDIA) commented on the EU draft of a data center assessment system under the Energy Efficiency Directive. The demand: Sustainability indicators must go beyond energy efficiency and include the environmental impact of IT equipment and network operations. Additionally, shorter reporting periods and fully open data are necessary.
