IDED will support SADC in 2026 with the sustainable development of data centers in PolanenPark. The joint sustainability roadmap serves as a basis for contract negotiations and annual progress reports.
IDED continues its collaboration with the Schiphol Area Development Company (SADC) for the establishment of data centers in PolanenPark, North Holland. The foundation remains the jointly developed Sustainability Roadmap, which integrates sustainability criteria firmly into the settlement process.
The roadmap is used as part of contract negotiations with a data center developer, whose project is expected to be completed in 2026. It defines which sustainability criteria must be met during construction — and how the data center should improve over time. Annual reports provide transparency for the public. IDED independently verifies these reports, ensuring that the project progresses according to the agreed plan and commitments are maintained.
