Endangered Heat Transition: Max Schulze, Chairman of the Sustainable Digital Infrastructure Alliance, criticizes that the obligation to use waste heat is eliminated in the new draft. "Every heat source must be included to decarbonize heat generation in municipalities," he stated. The elimination of the mandatory use of waste heat sacrifices a part of the heat transition without reason, criticizes Fridtjof Chwoyka, a consultant for Data Center Excellence.
