IDED (formerly SDIA) brought together IT infrastructure providers and buyers in Amsterdam to discuss the operationalization of sustainability, transparency, and regional impact in the digital supply chain.
Two surveys provided key insights: IT buyers lack the data to assess their suppliers' sustainability efforts. Regional providers remain invisible compared to market leaders. And specific sustainability criteria for cloud services and software are still largely absent.
The results contribute to ongoing work to strengthen regional digital ecosystems.
