IDED (formerly SDIA) was founded in Hamburg in February 2020 with the goal of reducing emissions from digital infrastructure and strengthening the digital economy.
On February 11, 2020, IDED (then known as the Sustainable Digital Infrastructure Alliance, SDIA) was founded in Hamburg. The press release introduced the mission: to reduce emissions from digital infrastructure and strengthen the digital economy.
